We made the family, but now the oldest boy was soon going to be 5 years old. My wife is an Issan girl and her hometown is Ubon Ratchathani. Before meeting her, I could honestly say that I didn't even know of the existence
of Issan.
Her father had 1 rai of land in Ubon Ratchathani. He parceled this land in equal sections for each of his children. My wife had started to build her home many years earlier. Now that we have returned, we decided to upgrade the place and call it home.
Since I'm a English Teacher, It was difficult to find a job here. In a couple of weeks, I've signed a contract at the local high school in town. At the same time our two children have been enrolled in school.
